Heidi

Heidi found a passion with the Arts in 2010 and further explored the range and diversity of Aerial Silks and Pole, through training, performance, and teaching.

Predominantly self-taught, Heidi developed her skill through completing various courses, private tuition, and workshops with the likes of Serenity Forchion, Bendy Kate, Marion Crampe and Anastasia Skukhtorova.

Apart from being wildly passionate for aerial, Heidi is a Registered Veterinary Nurse with great knowledge of mammalian anatomy and physiology. Much of her knowledge is transferable to the human body which shows through her understanding of movement, safety points, and injury prevention

Heidi has great enthusiasm for her physical art, delivering a unique and informed teaching style with a focus on compelling performance. She is the founder of Onyx Aerial and Fitness in Newton Abbot being an inspiring and motivator for many participants.

Instructor and Founder

Ann-Marie

Ann-Marie began pole fitness in 2014 with her daughter, Debbie - she was fixated straight away!

Aside from pole, Ann-Marie likes to spend her time training aerial hoop and gymnastics. She recently completed her pole qualification which has inspired Ann-Marie to continue tutor education in other aerial classes for the near future!

Pole Instructor

Sarah

Sarah attended her first pole fitness class in 2016 and was instantly hooked!  This has driven her desire to get qualified and she recently became a certified Xpert Trainer in Pole Fitness Levels 1 & 2.  The things Sarah loves most about pole is that it’s not only great for your body but also your mind.  It’s a fun exercise class with a tight knit and supportive community and really increases your self-esteem as you can visibly see a difference in your strength and flexibility over time.

When Sarah isn’t hanging upside down, she spends her time working as a Buying Manager for a homewares company designing and sourcing eco-friendly home products from India, Vietnam and Indonesia

Pole and Aerial instructor

Lea Robinson

Lea has always had a passion for circus and began aerial silks in 2015. Alongside Heidi, Lea has performed at various shows including Brussles Tattoo Convention. Adapt in PT classes, Lea can offer a high quality service from circuit classes to strength and flexibility.
